Tire maintenance and repair

Shallow tread:

Bare tires may slip on the road and be damaged by potholes. The tread groove must be at least 1.6 mm deep, if not, it must be replaced.

Help you see tread problems:

In the tire tread groove, there is a built-in "trans tread wear mark". These are the smooth bumps in the tread groove: when the tread wears to the "tread wear mark", the tire needs to be replaced immediately.

Little trouble:

Check for foreign objects such as tread stones, glass fragments, metal, etc., and clean them carefully. The tire exhibition said that if you bury the tire deeper while driving, it will cause serious problems.

Solutions:

1. If your car has a spare tire, please replace the damaged tire with a spare tire, and take your car to a professional Jiatong service station for inspection as soon as possible.

2. Tyres with a tread perforation diameter of 6mm or less can be repaired, and tires with a tread perforation diameter greater than 6mm or any side puncture, and the residual groove depth of the pattern wear is less than 1.6 mm, absolutely cannot be repaired, otherwise, it will become a safety hazard.
