If you keep the tires properly inflated and adjust their positions regularly, the service life of the tires will be extended and many unnecessary troubles can be avoided. Answers to these frequently asked topics will help you understand how to use tires most effectively. Questions one to four are about tire pressure, adjustment, balance, and four-wheel positioning. Please pay special attention to it. China international tire trade fair shares for you:

1. How much gas should my tires inflate?

Correct inflation is a crucial aspect of tire maintenance. Each automobile manufacturer has special regulations for correct tire pressure. Please follow the marking on the inside of the fuel tank cap or on the door of the vehicle. The maximum inflation pressure is marked on the sidewall of the tire, and the maximum value must not be exceeded. The following are notes about air pressure:

On average, tires will lose 0.7 kg / cm2 of air pressure every month, and tire air pressure changes with temperature: every temperature rise/fall of 10 ℃, air pressure will rise/fall 0.07-0.14 kg / cm2;

Therefore, the air pressure must be measured when the tires cool down (preferably the vehicle should drive less than one kilometer or more than one hour after stopping driving), and the valve cap must be covered after the measurement. Please develop the habit of frequently using a barometer to measure the air pressure, which cannot be judged by the naked eye, because sometimes the air pressure does not look too flat even if the air pressure runs away a lot. Check the air pressure (including spare tires) at least once a month. Generally, the air pressure of spare tires should be relatively high to avoid running away for a long time;

Before driving on a highway or bearing a higher load, make sure that the air pressure is correct. Generally, when driving on a highway, the tire pressure should be increased by 10% to reduce the heat generated by flexion, thereby improving the safety of driving;

The two tires on the same axle should have the same pattern specification and the same air pressure, otherwise, it will affect the driving and handling of the vehicle.

2. How long does it take to check the tire pressure?

China tire expo recommends: Check tire pressure every month and every long-distance travel, including spare tires. The tire pressure should be checked when the tire temperature is normal temperature, because the reading is the most accurate under cold normal temperature, and the tire pressure should be supplemented to the pressure specified in the car manual. It is normal that the tire pressure is higher than the recommended cold inflation pressure after the tire is heated up. If you lower the tire pressure of a hot tire, the tire pressure will not be enough after cooling. In addition, the tire pressure should be checked with a high-quality air pressure gauge, and it cannot be judged from the appearance of whether the tire inflation pressure is correct.

3. Why do tires need to be balanced?

It is very important to ensure the balance of the tires. It not only helps to extend the service life of the tires and to ensure driving comfort but also helps to ensure the safety of the driver's life. Unbalance will cause irregular tire wear and unnecessary wear of the vehicle's suspension system, and unbalanced tires running on the road will also cause vehicle bumps, resulting in driving fatigue. The tire should be balanced when it is first installed on the rim. If it is repaired in the future, it must be rebalanced. Once the vehicle shows signs of jitter, the tire needs to be rebalanced. Of course, vehicle jitter may also be due to improper positioning or mechanical problems Caused by. In view of the road conditions in China, it is recommended to do tire balancing at a professional tire shop at least quarterly.
