Misunderstanding 1: Add more lubricating oil

These carbon deposits will increase the compression ratio of the engine and increase the tendency to knock. The carbon deposits in the cylinder are hot and easy to cause pre-ignition. If it falls into the cylinder, it will aggravate the wear of the cylinder and piston, and it will also accelerate the pollution of the lubricating oil. Secondly, too much lubricating oil increases the stirring resistance of the crankshaft connecting rod, which increases fuel consumption.
Misunderstanding 2: When the lubricating oil becomes black, it is time to change the oil
This understanding is not comprehensive. For lubricating oils without a clear dispersant, the darkening of the color is indeed a sign that the oil has been seriously deteriorated, but the lubricating oils used in modern automobiles are generally added with a quiet decomposing agent. This detergent removes the adhesive film and black carbon deposited on the piston, and disperses in the oil to reduce the formation of high-temperature deposits in the engine. Therefore, the color of the lubricating oil tends to become black after a period of use, but this time The oil has not completely deteriorated.
Misunderstanding 3: Lubricating oil is often added without replacement
