Tire maintenance and repair

Shallow tread:

Bare tires can slip on the road and be damaged by potholes. Tread grooves must be at least 1.6 mm deep and, if not, must be replaced.

Help you see tread problems:

In the tire tread pattern groove, there is a built-in "trans tread abrasion mark". These are smooth bumps in the tread grooves: the tires need to be replaced immediately when the tread is worn to the "tread wear mark."

Little trouble:

Check for punctured tread stones, glass shards, metal and other foreign matter and carefully clean up. Tire Exhibition says that they can cause serious problems if you embed them deeper while driving.

Solution:

1. If your car has a spare tire, please replace the damaged tire with a spare tire and take your car to a professional jiatong service station for inspection as soon as possible.

2. Tread perforation diameter of 6 mm and below can be repaired, larger than 6 mm diameter of the tread puncture hole or any side puncture, pattern wear residual groove depth is less than 1.6 mm of the tire, absolutely can not be repaired, otherwise it will become a safety hazard.
